LightBridge Health is a modern healthcare brand preparing to launch in the Bay Area. Our vision is to create a more personal, thoughtful, and relationship-centered healthcare experience through Advanced Optometry and Direct Primary Care.
LightBridge Health brings together two independently operated care experiences under one shared brand: Advanced Optometry and Direct Primary Care. Each service area may have its own clinical structure, provider responsibilities, pricing, insurance participation, and enrollment process.
LightBridge Health is currently in the pre-launch phase. We are building our founder waitlist and will share updates as location, scheduling, insurance participation, and enrollment details are finalized.

LightBridge Health is planning to offer Advanced Optometry and Direct Primary Care. Advanced Optometry may include comprehensive eye exams, glasses, contact lenses, dry eye care, myopia management, medical eye visits, emergency eye visits, and advanced imaging. Direct Primary Care may include longer visits, direct physician access, prevention-focused care, wellness planning, and membership-based primary care.
Advanced Optometry plans to accept vision insurance for eligible vision services and medical insurance for medical eye visits when appropriate. Final insurance participation will be confirmed before launch. Direct Primary Care is expected to be membership-based and is generally not billed to insurance.
Patients without vision insurance may have access to a planned direct vision membership option for Advanced Optometry. Direct Primary Care membership does not require insurance, but it is not a replacement for health insurance. Patients are encouraged to maintain insurance for emergencies, hospital care, specialists, imaging, labs, and services outside the membership.
No. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an appointment, membership spot, pricing, insurance coverage, or provider availability. It allows us to notify interested patients first as services become available.

LightBridge Health is being designed around more time, better access, prevention, education, and long-term relationships. Our goal is to create a calm, elevated healthcare experience where patients feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for.
Some labs, imaging, medications, or outside services may be available at transparent or discounted cash-pay rates when possible, but they are not guaranteed to be included in membership. Final details will be confirmed before launch.
Advanced Optometry FAQs
No. You do not need vision insurance to join the LightBridge Advanced Optometry waitlist.
Yes. Once services become available, patients may be able to receive care with vision insurance, medical insurance when appropriate, or through a direct vision membership option.
LightBridge Advanced Optometry plans to accept vision insurance for eligible routine vision services, glasses, and contact lens care. Insurance participation may vary and will be confirmed closer to opening.
We plan to accept VSP for eligible vision services. Final insurance participation will be confirmed before scheduling opens.
Medical insurance may be accepted for medical eye visits when appropriate, such as eye pain, red eye, dry eye, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma testing, sudden vision changes, flashes, floaters, infections, or other medical eye concerns.
No problem. We are planning a direct vision membership option for patients who do not have vision insurance or prefer a simpler direct care option.
The planned vision membership is a direct care option designed to make ongoing eye care more accessible and predictable. Planned membership: $35/month. Planned benefits may include unlimited eye care visits, direct care with your provider, advanced imaging, personalized care plans, and exclusive discounts on glasses and contact lenses. Final membership details, pricing, benefits, and availability will be confirmed before launch.
No. The vision membership is not insurance. It is a direct care membership option for listed services and member benefits.
A routine vision exam generally focuses on glasses prescription, contact lenses, and general eye health. A medical eye visit evaluates medical concerns such as red eye, eye pain, dry eye, diabetes-related eye care, glaucoma concerns, sudden vision changes, flashes, floaters, infections, or other eye health problems.
We plan to offer same-day or urgent eye visit options when available for concerns such as red eye, eye pain, sudden vision changes, flashes, floaters, contact lens problems, and eye injuries.
Yes. We plan to offer glasses, soft contact lenses, and specialty contact lens services. Membership patients may receive exclusive discounts on glasses and contact lenses.
Yes. We plan to offer dry eye evaluation and personalized treatment options based on each patient’s symptoms, eye health, and clinical findings.
Yes. We plan to offer myopia management for children with progressive nearsightedness, including personalized treatment recommendations when appropriate.

Insurance & Membership FAQs
No. Membership is not insurance. Membership options are direct care models designed to provide access to listed services and benefits. Insurance may still be needed for services outside the membership.
